THE IMPRESSIONIST REVOLUTION: MONET TO MATISSE / The Santa Barbara Museum of Art will showcase iconic Impressionist works by artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Matisse and Piet Mondrian that are on loan from the Dallas Museum of Art. To complement ‘The Impressionist Revolution,’ the SBMA will concurrently present ‘Encore: 19th Century French Art,’ highlighting Impressionist works from its own collection, including four Monet landscapes shown together for the first time.
