Zarini shares her thoughts on the city’s best Italian restaurants and shopping destinations.
FIT / I find that the constant activity of motherhood keeps me incredibly active and keeping up with the boundless energy of a child is a workout in itself. I also make conscious efforts to incorporate movement into our family routines, like taking walks together, impromptu dance parties in the living room, or playing active games in the backyard.
MALL MAVEN / I gravitate towards Westfield Century City because it’s a perfect blend of convenience and variety. What truly makes it special for me is Eataly – it’s my little slice of Italy right here, so being able to pick up authentic Italian ingredients reminds me of my heritage and inspires my cooking at home.
BEST KEPT SECRET / As someone with Italian roots, I’ve found a little slice of home at La Pizza & La Pasta restaurant. The pizza is beyond perfection, plus it’s a casual setting. And just outside the city in Agoura is Noi Due Trattoria which is my overall favorite for Italian cuisine.
THE SPOT / My love for Rodeo Drive is deeply personal and symbolic, as I spent part of my childhood there and have a strong connection to this vibrant community. My primary motivation, however, is to honor my grandfather’s pioneering legacy. He was among the visionaries who transformed Rodeo Drive into the luxury shopping destination it is today, setting a precedent that many others have followed.
