Lorie Bartron dove into real estate on the advice of a client, resulting in a “Rookie of the Year” award in her first year in business and a newly found passion. A perfect day in the Ranch might start with a cruise on the electric bike, a tennis match at the public courts, a trail ride on your favorite horse, and lunch at La Cumbre Country Club, ending with a sunset walk on the private beach.

Hope Ranch draws the equestrian crowd for the many properties that offer equestrian facilities, with the option to ride from your property through the Ranch on 30+ miles of bridle trails or down to the beach.

With so much to keep us busy in the area, you can find members of our team walking their dogs on the beach, enjoying a round of golf at La Cumbre Country Club, strolling on the Riviera Walking Loop, and hiking the many great trails Santa Barbara has to offer.
THE MOTTO
Hope Ranch maintains its high living standards, which have been in effect since its founding father, Harold S. Chase, advertised it as “sun-kissed, ocean-washed, mountain-girded, island-guarded” over a half-century ago. It is still a perfect description of the area.
THE HAUTE SPOTS
Our favorite places to eat include State & Fig, located in La Arcada Plaza, the heart of Santa Barbara’s historic cultural arts district. The other favorites are Opal Restaurant and Bar, Loquita, Arigato Sushi, and the San Ysidro Ranch.
THE GEM
We’ve enjoyed representing many homes in this great community. Most recently, we loved representing this stunning Spanish hacienda estate that features striking architecture, great privacy, and indoor/outdoor living in a premier Hope Ranch location.
